TRAINED PROFESSIONALS
Having a close association with 'Solutions Training & Consultancy', and 'Security Institute' (Australia & NZ), combined with being a member, in good standing, of the 'Australian Security Industry Association Ltd (ASIAL)', ensures that IPA and its Team Members stay at the forefront with National and International security practices, training and standards. In addition we can tailor training programs to suit your needs for your personnel.

Training programs are formulated to cover and exceed the general requirements of all Security Personnel. This general training includes – Law (General, Invasion of Privacy, Trespass, etc.), civil and criminal liabilities, powers of arrest, non-violent conflict resolution skills, use-of-force, communication skills, loss prevention, radio communication, psychology, restraint holds and techniques, Community Policing, Workplace Health and Safety, questioning and searching, first aid, fire fighting and evacuation techniques, operational procedures, risk assessment, report writing and grooming.
Additional training programs are then formulated to cover specific requirements of the individual assignments. These specifics may include – traffic control, covert operations, computer operations, access control, CCTV monitoring, weapons training (including firearms), advanced driver training, high-risk analysis, marine vessel care program, community policing, intelligence gathering and leadership development to name just a few.

With this, regular testing is carried out. Examples of this being Team Members who carry firearms must pass our in-house weapons testing every four months to continue to carry a firearm; (this test is a practical advanced shot incorporating scenario training). Designated drivers must pass an in-house, six-monthly advanced practical driving test, to continue as an IPA driver, (Chauffer).
IPA Team Member training also includes individual site programs to ensure that all of your personal/company/community needs and requirements are catered for.
